[IL-Talk] E-Reader

I got the runaround a lot from the Illinois library but when I called Utah I was told it was sent on the 28th. I did get the cartridge three or four days before the 28th. I got the E reader on April fools day. What a surprise I was not expecting to get it back that quick. I have been enjoying it. I installed the cartridge that came with it with 16 books. I have not been able to logon to the MLS website using the reader. I was able to logon to the NLS bard site using my old password. I created a new one, and tried using it on the E reader, and it didn’t work. Been talking to Utah a couple of times . Michael is one of the two people that helps with the reader. He was unable to successfully help me to logon. I got a call from an LS but it wasn’t able to take the call at the time. I’ve tried calling back a couple of other times and since there’s only one person on tech-support at a time I’m sure he or she is very busy. I will try again next week . I was able to insert my SD card from my Apex and read the books that I had from there. I have been having fun playing with the settings and getting it the way I like it. My Apex had a 32 cell display so it’s taking some getting used to a 20syl display. I was under the impression that you could type simple notes on a blank document but alas, Michael tells me that is not possible with this device.
