[IL-Talk] Status of Electronic Ballot Return Bill

Hello All,

We have learned that an umnibus election bill has been filed, SB 2123, HFA 4
without the request for electronic ballot return for blind, low vision and
print disabled voters as well as oversees voters and their families. This is
disappointing but we will not give up. We do not know the reason for the
decision of the Illinois General Assembly. But know that all of the
coalition members worked very hard, presented all of the information that we
could, brought their ideas and expertise to this process and met with key
people. 

I want to thank all of the coalition members as well as all of you for all
of the phone calling and emailing you have done since January. We will try
again next year. And remember, we do have electronic ballot delivery.
