Minutes of meeting held Sunday December third, 2023

The meeting began at 7:03 PM. Members present: President David Meyer, 
Vice President Linda Hendle, Secretary/Treasurer Bill Reif, Kyle 
Chellino, Michelle Alt, Michal Nowicki, Marilyn Green, Debby Pittman, 
Eileen Truschae, Ken Schad, Leslie Hamric and Yvonne Agyarko.

State Presidential Report:

Marilyn returned from her first National in person board meeting. She 
reported that the Chappell Committee would soon meet to choose 
Washington Seminar attendees. The Great Gathering In will happen 
1/29/2024. Hill appointments will happen over the following three days. 
We are encouraged to let eligible people know about our upcoming BELL 
programs or to consider being an adult member. Next State Board meeting 
will take place Wednesday 12/14.

Debby moved, and Linda seconded, approval of the November 2023 minutes. 
Motion passed.

Debbie discussed the Honey Baked Ham fund raiser. There is a store in 
Chicago. The fund raiser includes the purchase of gift cards which can 
be either physical or electronic. The cards can then be used online or 
at the store to buy product. It is up to us to determine when it will 
take place and how long we want it to last. The company also sells 
turkey, deserts, cheese trays, etc. We will conduct a fund raiser in 
March so people can purchase and select products for Easter.

December Presidential Release 533 was presented. We need to increase 
cosponsors on the HR3702 and S1467. This creates a $2,000 tax credit 
usable over three years. We are hoping to include this in an upcoming 
tax package. The NFB In The Kitchen group is starting a campaign to 
increase the access ability of newly-developed appliances. They are 
seeking information about those people have found accessible in 
December, and in February, those which are not accessible. Join the In

Many of us including David, expressed appreciation for the support 
received as we have lost many family members and friends during this 
past year. We all fondly remember Teresa and continue to support David. 
We also noted the passing of long-time Federationist Ken Staley.

Dave announced his intention to host his third virtual New Years Eve 
party from 8:00 12/31 through 1:00 1/1. a czoom calendar invitation 
will soon be emailed.

The Next meeting is scheduled Sunday 1/7/2024 at 7:00.

The meeting adjourned at 8:23 PM.
