Hello Everyone,

WGN and NBC both put out false reports regarding paratransit and TAP and RAP.  NBC said that the 1 ride per way was put in and WGN reported that paratransit riders ride for free on paratransit.  As you know all those that ride paratransit know it is not free.  Furthermore, The Executive Director of Progress Center was informed by someone at RTA that they were holding off from making a decision regarding TAP and RAP for another month.  For these reasons we are strongly encouraging people to continually share the link for the petition.  When  we were at the RTA board meeting on Thursday, the board encouraged us to take this matter to the legislatures and also said at least one of the board members would sign the petition.  So keep pushing for signatures.  This is to help all of us.
