Meet our partner organizations participating in this event!


1. Access Living – Provide services for people with disabilities that include: Advocacy, independent living skills, transition support, peer support, information and referrals. 

2. Best Buddies International – World’s largest organization dedicated to ending social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

3. Center for Disability & Elder Law – Provides free legal services to low-income senior and people with disabilities throughout Cook County. 

4. Chicago Public Library – Offers a wide range of services, including a large collection of physical and digital materials, free computer and Wi-Fi access, and programs for all ages.  

5. Illinois-Behavioral Health Clinic – Provides a variety of services designed to uplift and support local residents, with a particular focus on Community Based Services, Children’s Behavioral Support, & Intensive Team- Based Services. 

6. IDHS/DRS/Workforce Development – Assist people with disabilities in making informed choices to achieve full community participation through employment, education, and independent living opportunities. 

7. Margaret Hackett Family Program – Assist individuals and families in understanding and better addressing the challenges of living with central nervous system anomalies. This includes understanding the diagnosis, sourcing knowledgeable and competent medical professionals that understand the diagnosis and identifying optimal treatment options. 

8. Midwest Asian Health Association – A non-profit organization with a mission to reduce health disparities for medically underserved, low-income populations in the Midwest through providing culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate services, which include community outreach education, screening and immunization, linkage to care, mental health services, and research and policy advocacy. 

9. RTA – A government agency created by the State of Illinois to coordinate the Chicago region’s transit system, oversee its financing with transparency and accountability, and plan for a future with adequate, accessible, and equitable public transportation for the six counties of Northeastern Illinois. 

10. Swoboda Deaf Center – only Deaf owned community center in the Chicagoland area for the Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, DeafBlind, CODA (Children of Deaf Adults), and ASL signers to come together. They provide resources, educational workshops, social gatherings, and special events including cultural awareness. 

11. MOPD – The Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) strives to ensure full participation and equal opportunities in all aspects of life for people with disabilities. We advocate for and directly support programs that improve quality of life and open pathways for innovation and partnership. With a goal of inspiring positive change in Chicago, we work to ensure the rights of the disability community are equitably represented across City services, initiatives, and policies.
