Hello All,

Happy holidays to all! It's that time of year again. It's time for food,
fellowship and fun and to raise money for the Chicago Chapter of the
National Federation of the Blind of Illinois. The Chicago chapter holiday
auction will be held at Exchequer Restaurant and Pub, 226 S. Wabash Ave. in
Chicago on Saturday, December 13. The auction will be held immediately after
our Chicago chapter hybrid meeting.

The meeting starts at 12:00 PM and will last to about 1:30 PM. We will take
a short break for people to view the auction items. The auction will start
around 2:00 PM and will conclude a little before 4:00 PM.

Forgive the long post but I have just a few notes.

Just about all restaurants including Exchequer now charge by table. So,
please keep track of your items to settle up with the person at your table
who will pay the bill. You should bring cash or be prepared to use Apple
Pay, Zell, Cash App PayPal or Venmo to settle your bill with the person.

Please be patient with your server as we are a large party, and there may be
a little delay in getting your order.

If you have auction items (small gently used items, gift cards. Tech items,
baked goods, travel experiences, etc.,(, Please reach out to David Meyer at
datemeyer at sbcglobal.net <mailto:datemeyer at sbcglobal.net> . He will endeavor
to post them to our listserv. 

You can pay for auction items by cash or Zell. The Chicago chapter Zell

If you cannot come in-person, you can still bid on Zoom but you will have to
make arrangements to pay for and get your items. 

All are welcome to attend the chapter meeting and the auction in-person or
