[IL-Talk] Trump Funding Cuts Hit Particularly Hard for Deaf and Blind Children

Unfortunately, we are in a position where it's becoming challenging to remain politically neutral. Funding cuts are real and I don't know the easiest way to address the issue without accusing one particular political party. A number of years ago I posted an article about Trump's business dealings where he didn't want to label elevators in his hotel. I was accused of making a political statement. If people had carefully read the article, they would have realized that it dealt with events which preceded Trump's entry into politics. As a result, I hesitate to post anything with his name attached to it. With emotions running high it's hard to differentiate between personal and political behavior. I understand why our organization needs to remain neutral but it is challenging when individual's lives are affected. Who knows what the future holds for blind people.
