Hello, National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Family!
Tasabih Elfaki and Michelle Ault spent some time reflecting back on our truths and truth be told....we are super stroked to be back at it again with door prizes for our 2025 National Federation of the Blind of Illinois State Convention! We are officially kicking things off and are so excited to start collecting prizes that will bring extra fun and energy to our State Convention weekend.
We are looking for door prizes of all kinds, and truly anything will be welcomed! Do you have a favorite place to get your cup of morning Joe.....share it with a gift card as a door prize!!  Have you checked out the National Federation of the Blind Independence Market and discovered how easy it is to place an order.......why not share it with others with a gift card? Gift cards, snacks, tech gadgets, home items, self care goodies, you name it! Please keep in mind that we do have some travel warriors coming in to explore our State Convention via planes, trains, or automobiles. We want to make sure that they can take their fabulous door prizes home with them! Dream big, keep it small in size. We can't wait to discover what kind of door prizes we will be giving away this year! Every single prize adds to the joy of convention and helps make the experience even more special for everyone!
Please remember: when you bring your door prizes, make sure they are labeled in Braille and large print if possible, so all can participate fully.
This is just the beginning, you'll be hearing from us again as 2025 State Convention gets closer. For now, start thinking about what you might like to contribute!
Please feel free to reach out to Michelle Ault at michtlua at aol.com or tasabih.elfaki at gmail.com.to let us know what you will be donating or if you have any questions.
With excitement,Tasabih Elfaki & Michelle AultDoor Prize Co-Chairs
