understanding of how the accommodation process works in college and how it
differs from high school supports. We’ll cover:
• The difference between IDEA in K-12 and ADA/Section 504 in college
• Communicating effectively with Disability Resource Centers and professors
• Examples of common accommodations for blind students in higher education
• Practical self-advocacy tips and problem-solving strategies
