[IL-Talk] URGENT: Chicago Chapter Picnic CANCELED for 7/18 Due to Poor Air Quality

Greetings all,

Due to the dangerous air quality in Chicago due to the Canadian wildfires.
I have the unfortunate news to report that the Chicago Chapter Picnic at
Landmark Cafe located inside Lincoln Park Zoo scheduled for July 18th, from
12:00pm-3:00pm is cancelled.

This decision comes at the concern for the health and safety of our
membership. We cannot say with certainty that the projected forecast for
air quality will be at a point where it is safe for our members to engage
in activities outside. I apologize if this causes any inconvenience for
weekend plans for the chapter.

I understand that not everyone is on the Il-Talk Listserv, so if you know
of a member who is not on our listserv who indicated that they wanted to
attend, Please call them and let them know. If you would like for me to
call them, please send me an email with their contact information, and I

Again, so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused for your weekend
plans. Just as a reminder we will be having another chapter meeting in
