I have read about food delivery robots, on college campuses where you have to punch in a code, and a door opens for you to retrieve your food.

It didn't occur to me that you would need to interact with the robot to get what you ordered. I thought it just dropped the item on your doorstep. Requiring some kind of action on your part makes sense but accessibility is always an afterthought. I suppose one solution could be a phone app where you track the robot the same way you track an Uber or Lyft ride. This is yet one more example of where accessibility is an afterthought.

Another issue we need to look into is these robots are not very accessible. I had tge misfortune of having one sent to me and I had problems entering my code in to get my food out. I had to get assistance from someone passing by on the sidewalk.JeanSent from my Galaxy
