Hello everyone,

It's Spring, which means new beginnings, so why not start a new book with
us. It sounds interesting. Info below.

The Lottery and Other Stories is a 1949 collection of 24 short stories by
American author Shirley Jackson, featuring her most famous and controversial
story, "The Lottery," which caused a sensation upon its 1948 publication in
The New Yorker. The book showcases Jackson's range, from humorous to
horrifying, exploring themes of casual cruelty, conformity, and the dark
undercurrents of seemingly normal life, making it a classic of American
fiction.

We will probably start this book next Sunday. May, 17th. I'll let you know
for sure soon. Come and join us. You don't have to read fast. We meet you
where ever you're at, with your braille, to help you improve.

Thank you,

Linda
