Mark. This is for the national organization. If you navigate to nfb.org, the link is on the main page. It's labeled 'members' and if you navigate by links, you won't miss it. The form is completely accessible and usable. I'm glad Patti raised the issue because I realized I might not have updated my address when I moved. It turns out that upon checking my profile, I see I had updated my address after the move. Keeping your information current ensures you will receive timely information from the national office.

I like the way the form is laid out. I contacted the national office to suggest a minor change which they said wouldn't be possible with the platform they are using. I pointed out that my idea was absolutely not important and enjoyed talking with someone from their development team. It's refreshing when an organization cares about accessibility. I wish all contact forms were as accessible as the one on our national website. Go ahead and create or update your profile. The process is easy. Don't worry about being able to use the form. There are people in the national office who can help you as well as people in our Illinois affiliate.

Hi Mark and all. When you're on the homepage of the national Federation of the Blind, scroll down the page and you'll find a link called members. Once you hit enter on that you'll be taken to a page called membership profile and you can login and create a member profile or manage yourmanage your existing membership from there. HTH.

Hello All,

As national membership chair, I just want to remind everyone that all current members of the National Federation of the Blind have the ability to change your demographic information and check on your member benefits. The steps are easy and accessible. So, please read on.

Member Profile:

*    The Member Profile is a self-serve place on our website where
members can update their contact information and preferences.
*    To log in to your Member Profile, you must be a current member of
the NFB with an email address that only you use. If you share an email address, only one person's profile will be created. For example, if John and Sally Smith share an email address, only John will have a profile created for him.
*    Your username for the Member Profile is the email address you have
provided to the national office for NFB communications.
*    If you haven't activated your profile, you will need to set a
password by going to nfb.org, activating the link called "members", entering your username, but instead of hitting "login", you would go to the link that says "reset password". There, you will reenter your username, and then you will receive an email with instructions on how to change your password.
*    Once logged in to your profile, you are able to change contact and
demographic information. You will also have access to member-exclusive benefits.
*    If you have trouble accessing your profile, please send an email to
membership at nfb.org<mailto:membership at nfb.org> <mailto:membership at nfb.org>  so that we can assist.
