<i>am so sorry to hear that. We used to flood also and I feel your
pain, especially the back pain from cleaning up the mess. We spent
almost 10 grand replacing stuff and putting in a drainage system all
around the basement with another area going across and haven't had a
problem since. I know you lost your power, but you can also get a
sump pump with a battery back-up. I don't have one of those, but if
my pump ever dies, oh please not, we will get the one with the back-up
just to be safe. Wish we lived closer. We hav lots of
experience with floods. Good luck and I hope you don't lose
anything of value. We are now on our third carpet and I have lost
count of the ceilings that the humidity destroyed, I think it is 5 or 6,
but no trouble since we spent all of that money, well worth it just for
peace of mind. So sad for you.<br><br>
