complaint.Actions such as this suit are what the NFB is all about.
Reading the attached press release provides a good explanation of
why this was filed. Reading the complaint will give you a good
understanding of what needs to be proven to establish an
actionable discrimination allegation. This complaint was clearly
well considered and researched and is instructive reading.</p>

Yesterday, EFE and the law firm of Brown Goldstein and Levy filed a federal
lawsuit in Chicago under the ADA and other statutes on behalf of the
National Federation of the Blind and Jamal Mazrui, a blind retired federal
employee. The lawsuit is against Blue Cross Blue Shield and the U.S. Office
for Personnel Management for refusing to ensure that digital health benefits
information under the Federal Employee Program, including <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.fepblue.org">www.fepblue.org</a>
<a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="http://www.fepblue.org"><http://www.fepblue.org></a> , is accessible. The Federal Employee Program
covers approximately 5.3 million employees, former employees, retirees,
family members, and former spouses.
Rachel W., Amy and I are the EFE attorneys on this case. The Complaint and
press release are attached.
