[Jayhawk-chapter] A touch of Kansas in New York

Happy New Year, everybody.

As you may know, our outgoing governor in New York was a blind person,
David Patterson, who succeeded Elliott Spitzer after he resigned in
disgrace. Patterson chose not to run for a term on his own merits,
after a less than stellar period as governor here.

We recently elected Andrew Cuomo to that office, and in his "State Of
The State" address on January 5, he made a reference to Kansas, and I
thought you might like to hear that portion of his address. I have
attached an excerpt here in mp3 format. In the event this mailing list
does not permit attachments, I'll upload the excerpt somewhere and send
a link to it shortly.

Cheers,
Chuck H.
