Dear Jayhawk Chapter Members:
I understand that pretty much all of our members have already been notified
by our Mr. Vice President, Rob Tabor,  and myself via telephone, that
because of predicted stormy weather we sadly have canceled our "Meet the
Blind Month" event we organized for today.  I heartily thank you   so much
to those who worked to organized to prepare for the event today and to those
who volunteered to be at the table today.  I also once again would like to
thank   to our very own members, Sidney Roedel, Susan Tabor, and our Mr.
Vice President, Rob Tabor, who together worked to draft our letter to the
editor to Lawrence Journal World for the purpose of publicizing about our
Chapter, the National White Cane Safety Day, and Meet the Blind Month.
I hope you all have a great productive coming week.
