Good morning NFB Bracketeers,

I would like first to apologize to all of you and especially Brendy for
misanalysing the impact of the championship game on our group standings. To
recap, I had stated that Brendy would overtake Brent to win the bracketing
pool if Duke wins tonight's championship game against Wisconsin, but that a
Wisconsin victory would keep the top 3 standings as is, leaving Brent in
first place.

On review of the top 3 NFB pool players' brackets, the only conclusion I
can reach is that tonight's game will have no impact on those standings with
one notable exception. If Wisconsin wins the national title game Jim Secor
would move into second place with 254 points, which then would push Troy
into third place at 234 and Brendy at Nunber 4 with 228. In other words,
neither Brendy nor Jim can mathematically overtake Brent and slide into
first place because she picked KU to win the national championship. So
again, I offer my most humble apologies to all, especially to Brent for
adding to his worry list and to Brendy for creating a misleading, albeit
unintentional expectation of a first place finish and the free massage
award.

In any event, I hope you all get to enjoy tonight's game which will telecast
at 8:00pm on KCTV Channel 5. I think it's going to be a thriller and the
national champion wins on a buzzer beater.

Last but certainly not least, I thank all of you for your support of the
chapter and your excellent participation in this historic fund-raising
endeavor. Be proud of the part you played in it and congratulations to Brent
Crow for winning the bracket pool. Congratulations are also in order to Ron
Miller who takes the pool player recruitment prize by topping the
out-of-chapter recruiting contest with 13 non-chapter bracketeers. Info will
be forthcoming to the contest winners as to how they can claim their prizes.

So a big hearty thanks to all and enjoy tonight's thriller of a basketball
game.

Best regards,

Rob Tabor | president, Jayhawk Chapter, NFB of Kansas
