Good evening Jayhawk Federationists,

Due to the lack of available member participation I have taken the executive decision to cancel the traffic safety awareness event we had scheduled for October 10. As Chapter President I must except full responsibility for our inability to successfully carry off this event. As Pat has so eloquently stated, we must and will find a way to learn from this experience and move on.

Remember that we still have the mayors meet the blind month proclamation coming up next Tuesday at City Hall at 5:45 PM. I am unable to attend it personally due to a schedule conflict. However, Renee has agreed to be our lead spokesman when are name is called up for the city commission docket. So let's make the best of it and have a strong showing a presence at the city commission meeting.

Last but not least, I wish to express my sincerest thanks to Pat and Susan for the efforts that you have extended on the October 10 event. Let's not beat ourselves up over this failed endeavor. Enjoy your weekend and I'll see you at the next chapter meeting in 2 weeks.

Best regards,
Rob
