Hello fellow confederation us.
I hope this all gets to you or gets to you wall. I am not sure on this is going to but I hope it is going to all of the chapter members.
As you might know Sunday is white cane awareness day. Every Sunday Tuesday Thursday and Saturday there is a community hospitality meal not a charity meal. And that Neil is that the first Christian church on 10th St. between Kentucky and the Vermont Kentucky alley reason I go there about three or four times a week.
What are the thoughts of all of us showing up at 1 o’clock and standing in the normal line for a meal with our white canes. Perhaps we could educate more people I do my best on my own there.
The Neil is prepared I local church or organization and it is almost always home cooking and heels are pretty good sometimes excellent occasionally bad it’s always the luck of the draw except the days that we are sure of which is not Sundays right now. Anyway if you all get this or is it all of you get this please let me know what your thoughts are and or just show up Sunday at 1 o’clock I will be there outside and always I will wait outside until 1 o’clock and I go in and get in line if people see me in line well I’m not sure how you would see me excuse me I’m not seeing very well either anyway I’ll wait outside until 10 after one and then I’ll get in line perhaps somebody will show up there are six steps to go down into the basement of the church so you might want to consider that as part of perhaps an accessibility problem.
Please let me know what you think.
Pat Slick
To clarify I will wait outside until 110 and I suppose people could capture change there are usually people out there and I hope that the Shyam on us or not frighten away. Anyway I’m not. Listen this is long enough please let me know thank you

Greetings fellow Jayhawk Federationists,
I hope everyonehas had an enjoyable summer and has managed to keep cool while indoors and that you are catching as many sun rays as you desire. In any case, it is time to get back to work with the business of endeavoring to help ourselves and our fellow blind colleagues to live the lives we want through the activities of the Federation. We hope you can all join us in our Auguest chapter meeting tomorrow from 1:00-3:00pm at the Lawrence Public Library at 707 Vermont. We will meet in Conference Room C in the basement.
For your convenience the agenda is posted below and is also in the attached MS-Word file. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Best regards,
