[Jayhawk-chapter] Kansas Afiliate Convention Stipends Coming, check your mailbox

Greetings Kansas Federationists,

 

Most of you who have requested financial assistance to attend the 2019 NFB
national convention in Las Vegas have been approved and will soon be
receiving your checks by first class mail with letters containing
need-to-know information. You will likely receive your envelopes over the
coming weekend or early next week.

 

Now is definitely the time to reserve your air trip or other transportation
to Las Vegas and to reserve your hotel room at the Mandalay Bay Casino and
Resort if you have not already done so. The number to call to reserve your
room is (877) 632-9001. However, there may not be any rooms available in the
NFB convention block at this late date. However, there are often postings
from would-be conventioneers looking for a room mate. If you would like to
share a room with a fellow conventioneer the best approach is to post an
inquiry on a newly created listserv on the NFB member list site. To get

This is an announce oly list, which means that any response to an inquiry
for a room mate must be communicated directly to the sender and not by
responding to the list posting.
