Subject: Event tickets for Sunday

Hi Susan,

Audio-Reader has two tickets for the Free State Festival silent film
festival Sunday. Each ticket is for a carload, so you can take as many
people as will fit in a car. Would you share the availability of these
tickets with Jayhawk Chapter - NFB members? I thought maybe Luther and/or
Brendy would be interested but I don't have contact info for either of them.

Interested people can call Audio-Reader 785-864-4600 or email Nick
nickcarswell at ku.edu <mailto:nickcarswell at ku.edu>

pasted below is the press release.

We are excited to offer audio description at an upcoming film screening as
part of the Free State Festival this Sunday June 27th AND we have two
tickets to giveaway.

This unique event will feature two silent films: The Immigrant by Charlie
Chaplin and Un Chien Andalou by Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali.

Both will be audio described and will feature an accompanying live musical
score. This is a drive-in event, participants will watch the films from a
vehicle with audio description available on your car's FM radio.

Audio-Reader has two tickets to giveaway. Each ticket is for 1 vehicle spot,
so your own transportation is needed. There is no limit on how many
attendees can participate from your vehicle. Email nickcarswell at ku.edu
<mailto:nickcarswell at ku.edu> for free tickets, or leave a voicemail at
(785) 864-2686

So load your driver, family and friends into the car and join us for a
special night of accessible silent film, with the Free State Festival,
Sunday June 27th at 8pm at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

An odyssey of Audio-Visual accessibility featuring two classic silent films
with live music, multilingual audio description, visual art projections and
hands-on activities.
