Hello, everyone:

 

I regret that I will miss Tuesday's meeting.  I am having a minor surgical
procedure done and the doctor in charge is a hard one to schedule with as
he's so busy so felt I couldn't re-schedule.  The meeting will be at 4:00
p.m. at Acapulco Mexican Restaurant and Grill at 1520 Wakarusa.  The
reservation of their private room is either in Rob's name or under the
Jayhawk Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Kansas. Cheryl
Miller will chair the meeting in my absence.

 

I will also be sending an agenda out later this evening.  We have a speaker
from K-State in Manhattan who is coming for a device she and some classmates
have invented that they believe will benefit blind people.  It sounded to me
like an Apple watch but with fewer and/or different features.  They may be
wanting Beta testers.  Luther, if you could send this along to Matt
Mitchell, I'd really appreciate it, please.  I'd love for both you and Matt
to provide input. Thanks!
