<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>First, I hope everyone had a relaxing and very 

pleasant thanksgiving day. Chapter members who attended our November monthly 

meeting will recall we decided to have a Christmas party on december 11 at 

Freestate Brewery as our preferred gathering venue with other possible locations 

suggested. Since then we learned via the Home-On-The-Range list that 

Southcentral Chapter is also having its Xmas party on the afternoon of the same 

day and with entertainment by the Tom Page Trio! In light of this new 

information I would like us to consider moving the Jayhawk chapter's event to 

December 18 which would enable those who can and want to join Southcentral's 

event on the 11th and still participate in our party a week later. We likely 

have as good a chance to reserve a dining room at Freestate on the 18th as we do 

on the 11th, and the latter date is consistent with our regular monthly meeting 

schedule. What thinketh ye?</FONT></DIV>
