They have the name of our chapter and they also have my name, so if one doesn't ring a bell with them, the other should! They have a meeting room there which they are letting us use free of charge. The latest trend in Lawrence, it seems, is to charge for rental of meeting rooms; and the fee is non-refundable in most cases. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'>I'd like also to note that Saturday December 11 is Cheryl Miller's birthday, so we have additional cause for celebration at our gathering!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'>Regarding nuts: I will make the final nut order on Monday, December 13, which is the day Farmstead Treats starts their big sale to liquidate their inventory by December 24. The only risk here is that if you order something they're out of you can't get it until next year. That's why I want to call the first day of the sale.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'>Upon speaking with Bob Fuller this evening, he tells me that we have sold roughly $1200 worth of nuts and made about $450 from our sales. Add the $200 coming in a few days from Pampered Chef and we're giving our treasury a nice boost.
