Hello,
My name is Chela Robles and I live in Concord California. I am totally blind and I am looking for a job in the accessibility departments at tech firms. I’m looking into doing things remotely if at all possible. I have worked as a trumpet lessons instructor just for myself and now have been doing alternate medias specialized materials in braille large print tactile graphics audio and magnification/screen reader friendly documents for Santa Teresa high school in San Jose from 2017 up to June This year. I am seeking a job Where I can actually provide feedback on usability and testing of various software‘s or products to make them accessible. If anybody finds any leads let me know thank you very much. I’ve been thinking about possibly working for google Apple Amazon and Microsoft just to name a few. I’ve been doing the Google usability research studies but they only pay you in gift card perks points which doesn’t do very much for me in the way of earning a living but it’s also great money on the side for birthday gift and things like that.
Anyway, that’s me in a nutshell.
