problem is that SSA appears to have no clue what the rules are for those of us who work and are on SSDI. My local office had no idea what the rules are and neither does the national office when I have contacted them. I have only had a good experience in Louisiana. Fortunately, my last jobs did not pay high enough to effect things,and the next job that I am after that looks promising, I will be slightly above the maximum even after taking out my taxes to get it down. No big deal since I can get it dow nthe rest of the way between transportations and a couple other things that I can deduct.
