Hello There!
I realize this topic has been brought up a ton before, but as each
person and circumstance is unique, and I know what my options are, was
wondering if anyone had any thoughts.
I want to first thank Dick Davis for his very helpful post on how to
address blindness with employers that you're going to see in person.
I have a final virtual interview with Comcast coming up early next
week. I'm pretty sure I know who the supervisor is, or at least, who I
will be speaking with.
Should I treat this like Dick suggests and offer them the chance to
ask questions prior to the interview or at least to reassure them I'm
comfortable with talking about this prior to the interview?
Or since it's virtual, do you think maybe I should wait and maybe
through screen share or something similar to show them how Jaws works
and such when speaking of accommodations.
It should be noted that people applying to this particular office of
Comcast have experienced pushback on making materials accessible from
HR. It's the comcast in Colorado.
Any thoughts would be appreciated as I prepare for this final interview.
