I am forwarding this to all of you hoping that one of you would like a customer service job or know of someone who does, in the St. Louis Area. This is not a sub minimum wage job. We screen out employers who don’t pay at least the federal minimum wage.

Hi Dick,

I am wondering if you can help me. I have a customer care specialist opportunity in IL which is near St. Louis. I posted it on the jobs list and also reached out to Shelia from MO and Marilyn from IL to post on their state lists. Neither responded. I checked with Sara luna, who is active in NFB of IL, and she said that she did not see anything go out. She then said she might be able to do it. She is now not responding to my inquiries about it. I feel like this may have a lot to do with Beyond Vision being tied to ability 1 and the mistaken idea that we are not a competitive employer. I have many issues with this, but won’t go on that rant now. Just wondering how to help people understand that this is not a dead-end job. We are having a virtual career fair/open house which should help. Do ou think circulating this letter might help?
