The Inclusive Mentoring and Employment Policy Summit closely explores how the power of personal relationship changes the trajectory of employment.  Join leaders from ODEP, RSA, the disability community, and the field of visual impairment and  blindness while we investigate how inclusive peer mentoring is a highly effective practice for increasing employment opportunities.

The Benefits of Working: Navigating SSI/SSDI While Seeking Employment November 10, 2021, 7:00 – 8:30 PM EST Please join us for an interactive presentation about the many benefits of becoming employed, particularly for recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or beneficiaries of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). This presentation will include an overview of work incentives, as well as helpful hints for overcoming challenges such as overpayments, SSA staff in need of additional training, and ensuring continuation of healthcare coverage.
