So last week I saw that NTI/LandaJob was advertising for work at home positions. They trumpeted all over the place about how they were looking for people iwht disabilities. I applied and they sent me a link to do a video assessment. It was not usable because there appears to be a graphic you have to click on in order to get your camera to be seen by the browser.

I called them up this morning and I told them this. I also said that I had heard from several people referencing this list who said that as soon as they disclosed they used screen readers NTI/LAJ dropped them like hot rocks and they were never heard from again. I told them straight out that advertising for people with disabilities was false advertising, and to remove that kind of claim from their future job ads. You are not willing to accommodate many of us, so you therefore cannot call yourself an inclusive organization, I told them.

I doubt it will do any good, but I just wanted to share the steps I took today. and I suggest all of you on this list do the same thing, and get others on your networks to do so, as well. Do not let organizations continue to put forth false claims.
