Yeah, had the same problem with them. Someone needs to take them to task on
this and put a stop to their false claims.

Yup, just tried applying again on the site. Stupidly answered "yes" to "Have
you applied before?", which directed me to speak to someone at the
organization named Shieka, who told me and I quote "Our clients can't work
with Zoom or JAWS at this time because they haven't caught up to current
times." I asked her "All of them?" to which she replied "Yes".

I pointed out that they specifically want people on SSI or SSDI, some of
whom are very likely to use screen-readers, to which she replied "Not
everyone will. We take in a mix of disabilities." Good luck to anyone trying
to seek employment from home given the pandemic, and hope you're staying
safe.

Forgot to mention, the person I talked to on the phone said that their work
platform was not usable with screen access software. That was when I told
them the bit about not being an inclusive organization. I'm still rather
steamed by this little episode.

> So last week I saw that NTI/LandaJob was advertising for work at home
positions. They trumpeted all over the place about how they were looking for
people iwht disabilities. I applied and they sent me a link to do a video
assessment. It was not usable because there appears to be a graphic you have
to click on in order to get your camera to be seen by the browser.

heard from several people referencing this list who said that as soon as
they disclosed they used screen readers NTI/LAJ dropped them like hot rocks
and they were never heard from again. I told them straight out that
advertising for people with disabilities was false advertising, and to
remove that kind of claim from their future job ads. You are not willing to
accommodate many of us, so you therefore cannot call yourself an inclusive
organization, I told them.

today. and I suggest all of you on this list do the same thing, and get
others on your networks to do so, as well. Do not let organizations continue
to put forth false claims.
