[Job-Discussions] Received a weird email regarding a job I applied to, and want to know if this is a scam?

I fully agree with you Dave. The only reason they'd have for checking the
credit score is because of the credit cards. 
Then it's perfectly acceptable for them to check it. But I was on the same
page, the wording in the reply just doesn't seem to fit a remote CSR
position.

This is just my opinion ... but I would say two things, first, I have read
that some companies do check credit scores, so by itself it isn't
necessarily a deal breaker. However, they seem pretty focused on getting the
score etc., so it is suspicious at best, and a scam most likely.
