I would suggest you to use LinkedIn. Last 3 weeks, I have seen employment opportunities for people in the accessibility field including Amazon.
It is also a great place for networking. For visibility, it is important to have a good profile in LinkedIn.

Thanks

Subject: [Job-Discussions] Looking for my next information technology job in St. Louis, Missouri

Hi,

I am new to this list. I was born and raised in St. Louis, and I am totally blind. I worked as a programmer for about six years, and am out looking for my next IT job.

I enjoy working with databases and web development. I am open to exploring really any IT opportunities, even outside of programming.

From a blindness perspective, what suggestions do you have for searching for jobs? How do you find jobs and companies that are friendly to hiring blind people? As a side note, I love remote work.

When you have landed that dream job, what do you do when you have issues with reasonable accommodations? I have experienced the situation where I obtain JAWS, but internal websites may not be accessible. How do you get the help you need in that case?

Thank you,

Michael Walker
