This is a great opportunity to fill the Teacher for the Blind and Visually Impaired positions!

ISU has a fully online 5-semester program in which licensed teachers can ADD AN ENDORSEMENT in Blind and Visually Impaired.

This is often a hard-to-fill position. Please forward this to your teachers. They would begin Summer 2023 and be ready to work under an emergency license in Illinois by Fall 2024.

Illinois is experiencing severe shortages in teachers licensed to teach in the area of low vision and blindness so now is the perfect time to obtain this endorsement.

The next cohort begins summer 2023 and will accept new students every other year.
