Dear List Members,
This is a reminder from the list moderator that this and other mailing
lists are the property of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) for
the use of its members. This is a list designed for discussions about
employment. There are many people on this list who are seeking our support
as they undergo the difficult task of finding jobs. They need and deserve a
safe and welcoming environment. There are also employers on this list who
may be making the decision to hire blind persons. They want to see
thoughtful and engaged discussions by the members.
We welcome non-members on our lists, because we believe that they too can
benefit from them. However, we do so with the stipulation that they not
engage in attacks against other list members or the NFB as an organization.
There is nothing wrong with courteous disagreements, but some recent
comments on this list have stepped across the line. We reserve the right to
remove people permanently from this list based on their behavior, and have
done so in the past. We have the full support of our president in doing so.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping this list warm and inviting.

If I get a medical card stating that I use these, will employers accept that? I was looking at trying to apply at APH, and they state they are a drug free work place. And I wonder if a note from a doctor could help me out here.
