Sandra, that isn't necessarily true.
When I was sighted and a few times when being blind, I filled out all the required paer work, all the checks came back positive, and all the pre-employment requirements were met...and I didn't get an interview.
Why? Who knows, I'm just saying that just because everything is done correctly, doesn't mean you'lkk get an interview. If you don't ask for something you really want, you'll never get it

Hello Dick,
I agree with everything you outlined, apart from the part about asking them for an interview. If you get past the paper sift stage of the application process, you'll be invited to an interview in any case.
Very best wishes,
Sandra.
