[Job-Discussions] SHRM certification exam

For tests such as these, it would depend on how the exam is administered.

Try to get double time if it is one you wish to take on line, at the very least, time and a half.

For a testing center, you can request a reader if the pcs or test is not accessible.

On the chance that the test is accessible at the testing center, request time and a half or double time.

Take longer if they give it to you.

If possible, take a practice test if you are doing it online. Count your keystrokes so you can cut down on your time.

Justin

I have not taken this exam but will be looking into it soon for myself. I believe that there is an accommodations process and that you can request it from them. I have heard that the online version is fairly accessible but I do not know for sure. I will keep you posted.9

Hi Kelsey,
I’m not familiar with SHRM requirements, but I have forwarded this to my friends Rose and Jennifer, both of whom have done what you want to do.
Best,

Several colleges offer the preparation course, so I'm not concerned about that, but what I am concerned about is the actual exam and the accommodations I am entitled to. has anyone on this list gone through with process before? If so, what was your experience like? The exam is available online or you can also take the exam in person at a testing center.
