This article points out that only 4% of corporate employees self-identify as having a disability, up only slightly from 2019. In fact, the rate of disability hires is going down. 

Is it that we need stronger advocacy? Better communications between evaluators and employees with disabilities? Or perhaps better training for companies on how to do reasonable accommodations? 

I think the latter, which represents a real opportunity for the Federation to offer that training to employers. Almost all of the employers I’ve talked to welcome help in this area.
