Hi Kelsey,
My company uses a web-based system called iTime. You bring up a brilliant point though about scripting. JAWS’s custom labels can really help with poorly labeled form fields. For the record, I just got JAWS certified through Freedom Scientific. I work as an assistive technology analyst.

At a previous company I worked for, we started ofp using Excel, but then they switched to a web based system which was totally inaccessible with JAWS, so the solution we came up with was for me to email my hours directly to HR and they would enter it into the system. If the HR manager was out of the office, I sent them to the admin assistant and she did it for me. That would probably be the easiest workaround if the company is on board with it. Out of curiosity, what timekeeping system is your employer using? At the company i am at now, when you log your clock in and clock out for the day, the system automatically keeps track of your hours, so there's no additional steps needed which makes it easier. The scripter did write a little script to make it easier to navigate since the text fields were poorly labeled, but at least I can use the system.
