[Job-Discussions] braille on my resume...

Hello,

I'm a blind person and I market the hell out of it! Even when applying
for boring work rather than performing, I portray it as an asset.
There's quite a bit of blind stuff on my resume; Braille Music teacher,
disability advocacy, I've done stuff for the RNIB... Even if I never
mentioned it, it would look rather suspicious if I said nothing. I
decided years ago to do it on my terms not someone else's. If I turn up
for an interview with a cane and I've hidden it, at best, I'm a moron.
At worst, I'm a manipulative liar.

I know I'm in the minority with this point-of-view.

Very best wishes,

Sandra.
