<div>You may not be asking for a reasonable accommodation. If I were on the receiving end of your request, I would question whether having to pay for transportation to work via Uber one day a week is much of a hardship for you. They are, after all, paying you to work for them, and many blind people manage to get to work through car pooling and other means. Some employers want their employees in the office at least part time now that Covid is over, and many employees are trying to resist returning to the office. It is likely that a lot of work from home jobs will become less than 100 percent now.</div>

I work for the federal government and I can do my job from home with no issues. There is no added benefit to my being in the office, in order to perform job duties. currently, we have to report to an office once per week. However, this is generally not easy to do due to lack of transportation. I am totally blind and have access to no buses nearby. I would have to take Uber, a train, and two buses to get to the office. and, I would probably never make it on time. How can I word my request, solely based on disability, in order to be allowed to work from home permanently? Tha thanks.<br clear="none">
