<p><span style="mso-bookmark:gd_top">- Manage human resource programs and services for the region so that the delivered HR services reflect and support the mission and core values of the DOC.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-bookmark:gd_top">- Manage, direct and evaluate regional human resource office operations to ensure quality services are provided that meet organizational needs.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-bookmark:gd_top">- Based on the mission and goals of the agency and specific initiatives of each facility in the HR region, provide leadership consultation regarding organizational effectiveness, management and use of resources.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-bookmark:gd_top">- Manage labor relations activities for each facility within the region so that effective working relationships between management and labor are established and maintained. Activities include union contract/pay plan interpretation,
discipline and grievance processes, participating in local labor/management meetings, etc.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
