AMN Healthcare is Hiring Blind Operators and Interpreters<br><br>

 <br><br>

We want to help humanize disabilities (we see the person not the

disability) and possibly as person who AMN can lean on for ways to make

the work place better. Disability Pride as in embracing and being proud

of who we are. Currently, we have a total of four blind employers, being

three interpreters and one manager. We all work from home, with computers

and screen readers offered by the company. The work environment is one

hundred percent accessible for blind users, and we always make sure to

test each and every application for accessibility before releasing

them.<br><br>

How many openings for operators? How many openings for interpreters? What

languages? What is the salary offered for operators and interpreters? Do

they have to have previous experience in the area?<br><br>

Currently we're looking to hire 25 operators, also called CSR's just this

month, the need will be continuous. We need to hire about 700

interpreters. We'll basically take a look at any language and every

language, including the 45 video languages or 200 audio languages, we

want them all<br><br>

CSR pay is $16 per hour and Interpreter pay is a range from $18 - $22

hourly. They don’t necessarily need to have previous experience, but we

find it's a better fit with individuals who have worked in call center

type environment. That also goes for bilingual people who want to become

interpreters, having exposure to a call center customer service type of

environment is a big help.<br><br>
