<h2>Job Summary<o:p></o:p></h2>
<p class="MsoNormal">In this position, you will provide education support and guidance to Minnesota's broader educational communities, including students with disabilities, with concentration on students with low incidence disabilities and a specific focus
on students who are blind or visually impaired (B/VI), deafblind or with other disabilities co-existing with vision loss. Duties will include providing leadership and innovation in:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Special education programs and services for children and youth with disabilities;<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Supporting schools, interagency partners, families and other stakeholders regarding strategies and activities to support access to a free, appropriate public education for students who are blind or visually impaired, deafblind or have disabilities
co-existing with vision loss;<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Implementation of federal and state statute and rules relating to the provision of increased educational opportunities and services for children who are blind, visually impaired, deafblind or with multiple disabilities.<o:p></o:p></p>
