UVA has new position with our College of Arts and Sciences, Learning

Design and Technology team. This is a great opportunity to influence our

instructorā€™s approach to accessible course content and practices. On

A&S LDT is seeking an Accessible Design Coordinator. This is a new

role thatā€Æwill provide logistical, pedagogical, and technical support

in implementing accessibility accommodations in CGAS courses. This role

will also collaborate with faculty, graduate instructors, and diverse

campus partners to design inclusive and accessible instruction. The

Accessible Design Coordinator will employ excellent organization and

communication skills to collaborate with diverse partners across the

University. In this work, they will leverage their commitment to and

knowledge of academic accommodations, digital accessibility, and

instructional design to facilitate accessible teaching and learning

experiences.ā€Æ This position will work closely with the A&S Learning

Design and Technology team, the Student Disability Access Center (SDAC),

and other disability-, academic- and faculty-support offices across the

campus.ā€Æā€Æ <br><br>
