 of Minnesota’s principal agency in providing workforce development services, promoting business recruitment, expansion, and retention, international trade, and community development. It also administers Unemployment Insurance, Paid Leave, and several other
 programs and direct services for Minnesotans. The Assistant Commissioner of Operations supports this work by overseeing operational services, including directing and administering the day-to-day and long-term operational activities of DEED. The role serves
 under the supervision of the Commissioner. It provides oversight and support to DEED’s financial and administrative services, human resources, diversity and equal opportunity, and general counsel teams pursuant to the requirements established by the applicable
