>>> Hi all!

>>> I was reading the local newspaper over this last weekend when I stumbled on an artical about the perdictions of the upcomming winter. In this artical, they mentioned phenology which is the science that studdies how the seasons effect wildlife. I was stunned when I ran into the term because I didn’t know that I had done phenology for years without knowing it until then. Since I read that artical, I did some research into phenology. I found several phenology projects, an addvertisement about tracking how the environment is effecting the milk thissle on farms and that they were looking for farmers to do this work. I have even found an online course that teaches how to lead a phenology project. I also found at least two discriptions of both amitures and professionals conducting phenology. I have not found a professional phenology field that stands alone. I have not even found a phenology degree. As though that isn’t enough, I have not yet found what science field phenology is attached to yet. Does anyone know where I could look to find this information? Also, does anyone know which field of science that is closest to phenology? The closest that I could think of is environmental science, biology, environmental biology, a naturealists, meteorology, climatology, historical climatology and the atmospheric sciences. I’d really appriciate this!!!
