[Jobs] ABLE Account Question

Good morning Laura,

 

I’m not sure about an ABLE account.  But, I do know what it is like to give up S.S.D.I. benefits and to go through the process of re-instatement of S.S.D.I. benefits.   The re-instatement process of my S.S.D.I. benefits after a job lay-off was an awful process to go through and even worse than going blind.  I’m starting a new job next week and I know how I am going to do things this time.  I will not put my wife through the process of S.S.D.I. re-instatement benefits ever again.

I'm considering opening an ABLE account, but I'm expecting to lose SSI within a year or two as my earnings and SSDI benefits increase. What would happen to an ABLE account when this happens?
