Hi Michael,

Read the article, and the author seems to be a bit bias on the side of
the Employees. And I can see this, but when it comes to disabilities,
the range of Ability is wider than what is found in the population
without disabilities.

The ranks of the disabled can range from the person who needs constant
help and supervision, to the person who out works even those said to be
Normal.

For about a year, I worked at a Sheltered Workshop. We had all kinds of
people with a wide range of ability.

I knew several people, who could not stay focused upon the task given to
them, and the Floor Supervisor had to remind them multiple times about
staying focused. One guy had next to Zero productivity because he
couldn't stay focused.

Are you saying these people who do not give a Full Day's productivity
should be paid at least minimum wage?

If you do, would you be surprised if the Employer never hired another low
productivity employee?

Grumpy Dave
